The Stand is awesome! I am the same way you are and must read the book before I see the movie. I love Lisa Jakson! What you have never read Jane..for shame..but your friend came through..they are both good. I am still avoiding Fifty Shades..LOL but my 68 yr old mother ..loved it..ha

I am participating in Armchair BEA too! And don't feel bad; I haven't read any Austin books, either. I am resisting 50 Shades - I don't think it is my thing :) I am curious to see what you think of it.
ReplyDeleteHaha, you bowed to the powah of the media and paid full price for Fifty Shades. :) I can't wait to hear what you thought of it. Oh yeah, I read the whole trilogy like the sheep that I am but I read it before it made the news. lol
ReplyDeleteI adored, adored The Stand. I'm not sure I could do it on audio book though, that is the longest book ever. I'd be afraid I'd fall asleep!
