Chilly Sunday Morning

Hello Friends!

I am writing to you today from the arctic--or at least, what feels like the arctic. Here is a map displaying my state's temperatures:

My town is one of those in the -60 degree wind chill temperatures. Without the windchill, we are around -28 degrees. And these temperatures are in Fahrenheit. It feels like we've had a lot of these this winter!

This means I will spend this chilly Sunday curled up with a book and a hot beverage in hand. Sometimes we need these chilly days to force ourselves to stay indoors and relax. It's the perfect excuse lounge around and read all day, as cars often won't start and much of the town has closed to accommodate employees. Tomorrow will be like this too!

Questions for my readers:
  1. What are the coldest wind chill temperatures you've ever experienced?
  2. What is the weather like where you are reading?
Happy Sunday, everyone! :)

  1. Slightly south of you in South Dakota, where the weather is much the same. Isunday is lazy for us, so I'm blogging, sewing and doing laundry.

    1. Lisa, you're right--South Dakota is getting it pretty bad too! Our schools have closed for tomorrow due to the horrible weather conditions. Hopefully you get a long weekend too!

  3. In Mainz, Germany we are currently in the plus-Celsius region, around 9°C today (around 48 Fahrenheit). It is way to warm for this season. Fortunately the sun was shining as well so we could go outside :) Sending you some warmth to North Dakota.
